THE SHIFT
This project began as an exploration of softness, restraint, and feminine confidence.
As a photographer, her work already carried emotion — but the brand itself lacked cohesion. The goal wasn’t to reinvent her, but to study what happens when a visual artist is given space to slow down and be intentional with how her work is framed.

Timeless
Rather than pulling inspiration from trends, the direction focused on sensation. Like light through linen, the quiet intimacy of shadow, natural textures, and the softness found in moments between movement.
THE VISUAL IDENTITY
Typography leans refined and editorial, allowing imagery to remain the focal point. Spacing and scale were used intentionally to create rhythm and softness throughout the brand.
Small details played a large role. Gentle contrast, delicate weight shifts, and intentional restraint give the brand longevity. This identity doesn’t chase trends. It creates a calm container for expression.
This project stands apart because of what it doesn’t do. It doesn’t over-style. It doesn’t over-explain. It allows beauty to linger.

Working with Marisa completely changed the way I see my work. Even though this was a practice project, she treated it with so much care and intention. She didn’t just design something beautiful. She helped me understand how my work could be presented in a way that feels calm, confident, and elevated. The direction she gave brought clarity I didn’t even realize I was missing. Everything felt thoughtful, emotional, and so aligned with the kind of artist I want to be. It was such a grounding and inspiring experience.
