I was a photography makeup artist who went rouge to embrace my love of beauty and marketing all together in one world.
There wasn't a job description that fit all of my passions so I decided to create my own.
I am passionate about all things creative and serving others. I love to sing scream in the car, wear hats, drink tea and martinis.

Family
My little family is the why behind what I do. If I'm not creating behind a computer or a canvas, you can find me being silly with my crew. We love to laugh, go on adventures and we're probably endlessly taking pictures.
My husband and I struggled with infertility for 7 years before going on the IVF journey together. We came out the other side with two beautiful babies. Ava and David are now my co-workers. You'll often see them featured on my Instagram stories if you're lucky. There is nothing like motherhood to really put into perspective as to what is most important to you.
My twins are the reason I create.

Art
Believe it or not, I am a creative in every form of the word. I love to paint, write poetry and throw pottery when I get the chance. You can also find me always redecorating spaces. I think your surroundings really effect your mindset.
Creativity often doesn't pair well with Organization but I love that too. I enjoy creative chaos with purposeful structure.
My love and eye for art gives me a leg up on the design industry because I can incorporate things that don't usually pair well together.
Beauty
I started as a Photography Makeup Artist because I adore the beauty community so much. (I still do makeup from time to time when client really sweeet talk me.)
My mom, my step mom, my step sister, and my best friend all own their own salons. The beauty industry runs through my veins. I knew I wanted to help the beauty industry, without being behind the chair, so when I figured out that all beauty professionals share the same struggles, I knew it was the place for me.
So I started helping salon owners and stylists manage their online presences and went a little rogue, like I usually do!
I love helping other creative beauty based business owners shatter glass ceilings into money making success stories.

Hey Girly! I'm Marisa, Founder and CEO of MB Creative agency.
I started out as a make-up artist and loved transformations and the confidence it gave my clients. Although I still adore Make-up I began to want a longer lasting and impactful transformation for my clients.
So many client and friends of mine had businesses and it got me to thinking...what if I could strategically transform these womens businesses in way that would far outlast the makeup that came off at the end of the day...and so, MB Creative was born. To provide women with a beautiful yet transformative brand, website and socials.
If I'm not working on MB, I am busy adoring my husband and twin babies, singing to Taylor in the car (yes i'm a swiftie) or following even more of my dreams with the girls over in the The Brief Collective!

The People Person.
Hey Iām Sydney!
I am a Designer here at MB creative agency. I started on my journey after quitting teaching and jumping head first into motherhood but realizing I still had an itch to do something for me.
I am so glad I met Marisa through The Brief Collective (which I highly recommend) when I did! I am truly not sure that I would be where I am without her! The uplifting spirit she pours into her team is something so inspirational!! She makes me a better designer and friend every day!
I love working at MB Creative because everyone is so kind and inspiring! All of the magicians put their superpowers together to make SUCH an amazing team and inspire me to stand out and make a splash in ways I might not have done on my own!
When I am not working you can catch me (well, catch me if you can) chasing my adventurous toddler and husband around outside! I work from home so my days are beautifully balanced with loving my job and loving on my baby!

The Country Girl.
Hi, I'm Yavanna. I'm so glad to see you hanging around in one of my favourite corners of the internet!
I'm a designer and mummy who lives in the beautiful British countryside with my daughter and sweet little dog. I spend my days with my laptop in hand and a sweet tea in the other.
I joined MB when I felt lost in my own design business and boy I'm so glad I did. The way Marisa cultivates joy and expression in her team and projects is something that has impacted me personally and as a designer. You are truly able to be yourself here and your superpowers are celebrated.
MB is a place where everyone has a seat at the table and I love that so much!
When I'm not working I am usually on pinterest pinning my outfits, adventures and design, adventuring or kitchen dancing while I cook (okay, okay try to cook).

Iām Laura, one of MBās designer and marketing magicians!
As a hairstylist turned digital designer, itās my dream to help other beauty creatives brand themselves so that their business truly feels like THEM and call out to their target clientele. Having a full understanding at what life is life behind the chair helps me know exactly what you need to make your job easier.
When Iām not creating, you can find me walking my dog, snuggling with my cats (and sometimes thereās room for my husband), reading fantasy books, and trying to keep my house plants alive. And always ALWAYS drinking coffee!

Hi, Kayla! I'm a Marketing Magician for MB Creative.
I love working at MB Creative because of Marisa! She is such a great person to work with and such an inspiration to me!
I was very new to freelance design and marketing when I came across the Brief Collective on Instagram and I am SO GLAD that I did! I know that Marisa has so much knowledge to share with me and I cannot wait to learn more. I also love that we can all be ourselves while working with the team.
When I am not designing you can find me enjoying a drink with friends, reading, or learning a new way to express my creativity (some recent experiments are painting, sculpting, and embroidery.) A couple of personal things Iām working on right now are writing and publishing my own gluten-free vegan cookbook.

As a full-time bridal stylist and part time magician, the industry has made me fall in love with fashion, beauty, and all things wedding which really gives me extra special perspective when working on these types of projects for MB.
When I'm not at work or working on social media you can find me hanging out with my fiance, working out, or watching reality TV (my guilty pleasure).
The thing that excites me the most is the possibility of growing, learning as much as possible, and seeing where that can take me! We never stop learning and developing our skills here and it shows.
