Is a virtual assistant the same as an employee?

Nope! I am an independent contractor, meaning I provide my own computer, benefits, etc. I work virtually! Aka = From my couch with my pajamas on. Working year round, I am here for you.

Does a virtual assistant provide services hourly or with packages?

Since VAs are not a one-size-fits-all, providing services isn’t either! I offer both hourly rates AND packages, depending on what the service is. With hourly packages or retainers, you can hire a VA for 10 hours a month or 10 hours a week.
